the product is light red for the cover and silver for mechanisms that work the equipment.

there were quite a few considerations,

like the fact that it must be portable and easy to use, also there must be a considerable amount of grip as it needs to be able to grip and screw the cork out of the beer bottle.

the elderly would face quite a lot of irritants in the product, like the way the grips are quite puny, the top of it is so sleek that it is quite a painful grip if you grip it to hard.

I think a bigger grip would do well, also, I think it needs a softer and maybe more firm grip to it (rubber, perhaps?) at the grips. But seriously, who sees a grandma drinking beer? So I don't this is suited for the elderly.

ergonomics II

1.Ergonomics is to unsure that the product is safe and easy to use.

2. a) Freedom of movement- being able to move freely- the liberty chair ass it can be moved easily and conveniently

b) Simplicity-the extra rack, is simple and convenient as the materials are simple as all there is to it is a simple add on rack

c) space -the extra rack, same thing- it is an add-on to the table and gives more space to the table.

d) lighting- lighting lamp, this interesting lamp has a little switch at the lamp which adjust the lighting in the lamp

e) safety- liberty chair is safe to use as leaning back would not result to a fall back.

Ergonomics 1

work place 1 is cluttered, inefficient and everything is done manually, whereas the workplace 2 is more efficient and uses the add ons like the extra rail to add in the equipment onto the rail, making the table clutter free and user friendly.

chair- the liberty chair adjust itself to a comfortable level when you lean back while the normal chair is complicated and the mechanics need to be adjusted manually by gears.

the adjustable computer- the computer is easy to adjust by its lavers to bring it nearer or further from the viewers eyes, while the other computer is difficult to shift about and is hard to use or see

the lamp- as the lamp arm is shiftable, you can move it further or nearer to the user to make the light comfy and, dim and basically any type of lighting you want.

laptop holder- laptops are small for average height people, so the laptop holder adjust the laptops height to the user, while normal laptop user have to hunch down to see the laptop screen.

the extra rail- having extra stuff on your table? no problem- the rail allows you to attach anything on it and makes the table less cluttered.

The workplace 2 is less cluttered and more enjoyable to use as the simple add ons to the equipment are easy and efficient.

the considerations taken in account to make the workplace was the efficiency, the easy to use, the lightings, clutter friendly and user friendly.

ergonomics are needed to make the workplace user friendly and fun to use. also it helps the user in more ways than one

elderly challenge no.3- designing the room

Ok, the design is quite simple, there are levers ( or holders, I forgot the name of those things ) it is for the elderly to hold onto while navigating the room, the weird looking box around the door is for the elderly to place their walking aid on so it doesn't roll around.

The weird thing in the side of the room is supposed to be a chair with with rollers on it so the elderly can push it around, it would also double as a in house walking aid but I got really frustrated trying to create one.
